(EBT) Electronic Benefits Transfer Service

Xenex provides processing for Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT.) Most states now issue Food Stamps, Women’s / Infants / Children (WIC), and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) benefits on a card with a magnetic strip. The EBT card works exactly like a debit card, the customer presents their card to a merchant, the merchant swipes the card through a terminal, the customer enters a PIN, and the transaction is complete.
